A week from today, Scott and I will board a plane. Many, many, many hours and a couple of stops later, we will finally land in our ultimate destination: Cambodia.
That’s right. The Cambodia project is now just days away from starting. How crazy is that?! This is something Scott and I have been hoping to do since before Kaleidoscope even existed. We first talked about possibly partnering with Greg and Jane Drebes in Phnom Penh when KMM was still just a “someday, maybe we could do something like that” thing.
And now, here we are.
Kaleidoscope Media Ministries, Inc. exists and is in full swing and we are actually going to help the Drebes' in Phnom Penh! How cool is God?! He’s the one that connected me with Greg and Jane in the first place. He’s the one that allowed us to establish a good rapport and connection with each other while my team was partnered with them on the The World Race. And He’s the one that laid it on the hearts of Scott and I to financially contribute to what Greg and Jane are doing in Cambodia.
God has been the orchestrator and advisor in this journey and I am thrilled to be this close to seeing this particular chapter in it come full circle.
We’d love for you to pray for us as we prepare to go. There are lots of things we still need to take care of in our day jobs and personal lives in the next week. We’ll also be driving to Houston and taking three flights to get to the country. So prayers traveling mercies & protection would be welcome! Additionally, we’d love for you to partner with us in praying for what the final outcome of our trip over there will be. We have a script worked out and general ideas of what we need to film and photograph, but we also want to be sensitive to the leading of Holy Spirit – in partnership with the Drebes' – in case the current script needs to change.
I’ll be blogging as much as I can while we’re in the country so be sure to subscribe to our email list to get the latest updates!
